First Pregnancy! Due May 2007

Hi Everyone
Just wanted to say hello and to get in touch with other mums to be due in May 2007. I am 6 weeks pregnant, but still not letting myself get too excited until I have my 12 week scan:fingerscrossed: ...How are the rest of you feeling about this...I dont know if I am just paranoid but I am so worried about getting too excited:smiliedance:/attached just in case anything goes wrong. Would love to hear how others dealt with this anxiety?

Hi Binkie and welcome to bubhub! I think it's pretty normal to feel anxious - I know I was. I don't know if there's actually a way to get over those feelings. I guess as your pregnancy progresses, you'll begin to feel more confident.

I'm Sam, and i am 33 weeks pregnant with #1 (a girl) so i have 7 weeks left :smiliedance:

From the moment i decided to keep my baby up until about 20 weeks i was sooo nervous, constantly worried that something was wrong, or that i would lose her, i had every possible thought go through my mind... but after seeing the scans (particuarly the 20 week scan) and now feeling the kicks, i don't feel worried anymore :)

Thanks so much for the replies - I will just hang in there for the scans. I think its because I just cant believe how lucky I am so it makes me extra worried! Anyway, I will let you know how it goes...so glad I found this site!

If you haven't found it yet, there is a thread especially for the May 2007 mums under the section "when are you due" in the pregnancy section.
There are threads there for each month so you will also find alot of useful info in the other months that are a bit further along.
