I really need to earn some money, but like many (I know) I would love to stay at home with my kids. I don't have the most understanding husband, one of those ones that thinks looking after the kids isn't a job and he is going to be at me to put my name down for casual teaching and its something I can't do with two children (get a phone call at 7.30 to be at work at 8-8.30, hard to get them ready plus no day care will hold a place just in case you get some work and not want to be paid {which I think is fair enough}).
I only want to earn maybe $300 a week if posible, any idea's would be most helpful! I am desperate.

Have you looked into any jobs via internet, tele-marketer using own phone, party plan (tupperware, body shop, avon), pamplet/letter box drops?
Unsure how much these things earn but worht looking in to
how about office cleaning of an evening once your DP is home ? Or school cleaning.
Junk mail deliverer.
Or a swimming teacher on weekends. you need to learn though.
Supermarket shelf stacker at night.
Babysitting or become a homecarer in your house.

$300 a week is a fair bit to earn, when looking at part time type jobs where you do your own hours... I think you will struggle to find a SAH job that will bring in that kind of pay (I am happy to be corrected though!!!! :) )...
Unless you look at night fill or a weekend job, I don't really have any suggestions sorry... although if you are prepared to work hard, and be out atleast a couple of evening a week, you might get that from a party plan type job... but they aren't consistent, and the income isn't guaranteed.
If you come up with something- let us know though!!!
Supermarket shelf stacker at night.
:iagree: That was my thought too. Or some kind of evening shift retail maybe. It would have an added bonus of your hubby possibly being responsible for bath/bedtime and maybe realising how much work is involved with kids!!!!
Are you not able to justify it by saying that childcare at 60bucks a kid means it's not really worth your while to go back to work?
Or what about a retail shift on the weekend when hubby can look after the kids (again, bonus side effect hahahaha)?

Thanks girls, my problem is I live in a small country town where the super market closes at 7pm so night shelf packing etc doesn't happen.
