i moved up from morwell was there for 3 year before that i was in the SE suburbs but moved to sale as this is where the new hubby lived lol we married a month later and are now 15weeks pregnant :)

Warragul is close to everything. That's why we chose to live here. An hour from the city, hour from the beach, hour from the mountains... Love it.

Yeah I grew up down here and a actually lived in seaspray for about 10 years when I was a teenager! We've been there quite a bit with all this hot weather lately too!
Oh the gossip is horrible!! It's one of the reasons I moved away in the first place, I just have to brush it all off and not associate with people who do it!

Didn't get flooded, KWR was pretty dry at the end of it all, there were a few homes and tones of paddocks that did closer to Pakenham, Rumors were the footy oval here got about a foot of water.

Yeah that'd be good! I do like sale as all my family live here and it is a nice place to raise a family but it is really hard to meet and connect with other mums, I pretty much have no friends here :( We're thinking of moving to traralgon for more job opportunities so hopefully they have more playgroups and things to meet other mums!

Sorry to crash, also not in Gippsland, but my cousin grew up in Bairnsdale and my Nana lived in Paynesville for a few years. Such a long drive to get there but gee I miss those days, they were good times visiting my cousin and Nana!

I had my daughter there 4 years ago and I quite liked it. Nice small country hospital and although some nurses were a bit old and grumpy (I'm sure you get it everywhere) most were quite good and helpful! They have some private rooms and water birth facilities but I'm sure they have updated since then!

Hi I'm moving to Inverloch in a couple of weeks and will be a SAHM, whilst my hubby goes off to work in Leongatha. We have a a 22 month old son and I think I have him a place for a couple of days in a kindy in Wonthaggi. Always wanted to bring my kids up in a quieter area with a more community feel. But we picked KWR because the oldest child is my partners who we have 50% of the time and her mum lives in Garfield. So we thought with my son going into prep nd t year it would be nice if they go to same school. Plus it's easier if we live closer to each other.
Where abouts are you from? Have you always lived in the country?

Ah yes, co-parenting would be hard, but sounds like a good decision :)

Have a look at bayels too, it's nice and just off the beaten track IYKWIM.

I'm in Mirboo north for a couple more weeks then moving back to my house in Korumburra as my remnants are moving out, just in time for bub to arrive :):)
We both work in Melbourne south east, so we come through koowee twice a day :):)
