To cut a long story short, my Baby Jogger City Select twin got mouldy before Christmas & so, as it cost $1000,we claimed it in on insurance, but because that model's no longer available, were reimbursed for the value of the next model up, worth about $1500. But after looking at many twin prams, just to be sure, we realised it wasn't that Baby Jogger City Elite we needed (would need to get a buggy board that fit as well for DD3, so awkward to push when you have pelvic instability). But on trying the ABC Buggy Everest with reclining toddler seat, we realised that was perfect.

I was wondering, of those of you who have used this pram for twins and other little ones, how have you found it?

Don't do it! Quality is pore, center of gravity is way off & chance of tipping is high. ABC's are really tall, if your a small fry, it's useless.

Have a look at the valco triomode with seat

i disagree completely with TT. My ABC buggy double with toddler seat is now 3 years old, the quality brilliant and it is as easy to push as a mountain buggy. And it is far more stable than a pram with a front toddler seat such as a valco. i often have nobody in the bottom of the pram and a 2.5 year old in the toddler seat and it has never even seemed like tipping. The other great thing about having the toddler on top facing you is that the toddler can chat as you walk along. Also there is no toddler seat in front of the babies to impede their view.

Although, I would be getting a static toddler seat, as Krystal has said it is difficult to see over the top of the reclining seat and I see your toddler is 2? They shouldnt need the recline.

Oh, and don't bother getting one new, they come up on ebay all the time and sell pretty cheaply as nobody has heard of them lol

I agree with TT and I agree with 4under4 - get one on eBay - preferably one a few years old.

Mine was 1200 brand new abd the biggest piece of poo ever, everything broke on it, the brakes springs snapped clean off, the toddler seat stopped clicking into place, the zippers broke, a wheel literally fell out of it's socket, and another wheel went wonkey - all in a matter of 10 months.

HOWEVER people I know who've had then for years and years have no such issues.

And speaking to the distributer, they are now sell world wide, she said at least one a day, but are still hand made in NZ, so I suspect the ones being made and sold now are crud, whereas the ones made less recently were made with love and care.

It's a fantastic concept, I did love mine so much, but understandibly even when they replaced it with a brand new one in the end I couldn't even bare to look at it!

I only had the single with reclining toddler seat, but the doubles with a static seat I think look great :) I wouldn't get a reclining toddler seat, unless I had triplets, because it's just too hard to see around and Ive seen someone else with the static seat on the double and it looks so nifty.

Thanks girls. I've already purchased it, so unfortunately no searching on ebay. My toddler is almost a girl, she's 4 in May but still quite little. We'd be using it with her for about a year then I'd say she'll be scootering alongside me. I'd prefer to use the reclining toddler seat for one of the bubs as they are most likely to get needy and want to see mum and we may be going to Europe this Christmas and it'd be nice to have the option of 3 reclining seats if they all get tired.

I think with all prams you can always get duds. My Baby Jogger City Classic had to be repaired after only 6 months due to a brake fault. I ust have to cross my fingers that this one works well.
