New Huggies Design?

I bought a bulk box of Huggies yesterday (being my fave brand :D ), and noticed that they have a new design and also seem a bit thinner than the old ones? It seemed to be alright last night and didn't leak, but just wondering if anyone's had any probs with them? I'd hate to have to change to a different brand of nappy if they're no good!

Have to love the new design and colours on them though, too cute! Now they don't look so bad with nothing over them in summer! :yelclap:

I bought a new box last week but have yet to open them.

Do you mean they have new pictures on them, or that the shape/style of the nappy seems different. Or both?

Ohh they are a heap better than the old one none of those gel thingy ma bobs better fit etc I love em, oh and they work well for Eliza too :p

Instead of having pooh bear on the grip-tab sop, there's a big picture on the front and other little flowers/whatever all over the nappy, and it's got a slight blue tinge (well, my boy ones do)
They look a bit difference in style too, but I don't mind - Cobey doesn't wet through them at night like he does Babyloves and the old huggies one..

my son has wet through his huggie nappies quite often at night but don't know what to switch to. Any suggestions?

maybe its not the right size. I find my DS has a big butt, and needs the size up from his weight or else he leaks

Whereas the grip tabs on the old ones were a little too narrow on Lukey, sometimes digging into the front of his upper thigh, the new ones have really wide grip tabs, they also have a new bit at the back which allows a little more give - thumbs up for the new fit Huggies!!:thumbsup:
I even sent Huggies an email telling them how great the new fit is...got a pack of Huggies wipes in the mail the next week as a thankyou.

BTW...the new ones seem hard to find at the supermarkets - I went to 4 before I found them.

They do seem to be a better fit, and the leg guards don't cut into DD's legs as much either. Very pretty! :yes:

Interesting to read these comments as a girl from my mothers group bought a packet of the new design and was complaining that they were not as good and that they leaked. I was really worried as Huggies has always been the only brand I have liked! My supermarket is still stocking the old ones at this stage.

I love Huggies... I had bought a couple of the smaller packs and they were the new design and loved them... Went out and bought 4 boxes cause they were on special but they are the old one...:thumbsdown:

Have now tried the new design and am finding them really good. They look like they are much more comfortable around Nathaniel's waist. And the design is really cute isn't it!
Have been talking about them with the girls from mothers group and was intersted to hear quite a few complaints from the mums with daughters (few problems with leaks that they never previously had with Huggies) but none from the ones with sons. Must be something to do with where the absorbancy is in the nappy for each gender I guess.

have to say, after using these for 3 weeks, they are terrible! They leak every night! not to mention he looks like a girl wearing them:laughing: I just went and hunted down a box of the old ones:thumbsup:
