Hi everyone,
I just purchased an amber teething necklace online (yay!!!) for DS who is almost 7 months old.
But, before I purchase it I never thought about using it for sleeping with. Can I wrap it around his foot or something? What do you do?

Your meant to take it off or put it on their ankle, however after the first week or so (once he was use to it), I just left it on full time. Never had any problems with it.

We just left them on, though we co-sleep.
I have been using one with my ds (6mths) since he was about 2mths old. He always sleeps in a sleeping bag which has a button at the top so I make sure the necklace is looped through the button so it can't be pulled against his throat while asleep. I did leave it off one night last week - took it off for his bath and didn't put it back on and thought I'd just see how he went...well I won't make that mistake again. After he'd woken for the 3rd time before 10pm I put it back on and didn't hear another thing from him until feed time. Not sure if it was coincidence but he normally doesn't stir until feed time.

Does the necklace have a clip of any sort? I may be able to clip it to his zip hole on the sleeping bag maybe?
I really really REALLY hope it works!!!
DS has slept through since day 1 till he was 5 months old then things went pear shaped. He's got teeth coming through left, right and center and am desperate for my angel sleeper back!!!
I'll probably wrap it around his ankle and see how we go. The monitor is on super loud so I can hear EVERYthing that happens in his room :D
Mine is doesn't have a clip - it just screws together. At 7 months I wouldn't think you'd have too much trouble anyway. I'm generally don't bother putting ds2 into his sleeping bag during the day and its getting quite warm at night now so I'm thinking I'll be loosing the sleeping bag within the next month. Teething is no fun hey! We're really close to having out first one cut through and I'm hoping that will give him a bit of relief. I hope it works for you, I think it does but its hard to tell. I also use SM33 when its really bothering him and that seems to help.

Sm33 is excellent! I used it with DD and now DS. Much better than bonjela :)
Thanks everyone, I'm looking forward to receiving it!!!
Yeah it wasn't until my ds1 was getting his molars that someone told me about sm33 and how bonjella doesn't have a numbing agent in it but sm33 does. We love it too here, although I do want to try the hylands teething tablets.
DD2 has her teething necklace I keep it on full-time when she's teething, the SM33 gel is also brilliant.
i was worried when we first got ours when our daugter was 14 weeks old. But after a week or so i decided that night time was when she most needed it, so have left it on her neck 24/7 ever since. Have never had a problem and she doesnt know its even on her. Sooooo great!
