I was just wondering... can you wash a microwave steriliser?
If so, what's the appropriate way of doing so?
Can you wash it in a sink of hot soapy water? Or should they just be rinsed in hot water? Sorry... i have no idea and the instruction guide does not tell me
i have the avent one

I have the same one and I have to admit, I don't tend to wash it all that often! The handful of times I have given it a clean, I just wiped it in hot soapy water & gave it a rinse.
I washed mine in hot soapy water, rinsed then air dried every day. It's really all you can do, nothing at home can ever be really sterile IYKWIM. I don't miss sterilising!

I have the avent one too. I read in the instructions that it can build up limescale. I give it a wash every now and then in hot soapy water, rince well and then rince with boiling water.

I have the Avent one as well and I think I read on the website that you mix 100ml of vinegar and 200ml of water and allow it to soak overnight to remove the limescale.
I wash it about once a week in hot soapy water and soak it overnight once a fortnight. In between I just make sure it drains.

I was surprised to read about the limescale. I have been using mine for nearly a year, have only washed it a few times and it still looks brand new!
Maybe it's our water here??

I used to wash mine once a week and then rinse it with hot water and let it air dry.
