I'm thinking it's about time to start toilet training my daughter and need advice on a Potty. With a lid, without, expensive, cheap. Please help, there are too many to choose from!

Try a cheap plastic toilet seat insert for your big toilet and that way you don't have to re-train her to use the big toilet and there are no yucky messy pottys to clean all of the time or be accidentally tipped over or played with!

Both of my kids are happy going straight onto the toilet ... a small stool with rubber feet to stop it slipping is helpful and helps them to gain confidence quickly.

Reassure her that you are there and that there si no way that she is going to slip into the toilet ... support her for the first few times until she is happy witting there by herself and you will not believe how quicly she will get used to it!

I got my insert from a supermarket for less than $5 and it has been worth it's weight in gold!
