View Full Version : Att: Mums at Eyre Peninsula
Hi
I thought you guys would be the gurus on this one.
Or has anyone else been here before?
Where is the best spots for a holiday on the Eyre Peninsula - family friendly, beaches, facilities etc?
My favourite spot is Venus Bay....a little further west though. They have heaps of dolphins around the jetty.
Otherwise next best is Cowell, nice and small and fabulous seafood(if you like that kinda stuff)
Whyalla is good. You can access cowell, point lowley and other points from there. It has an accessible beach, beautiful public gardens, reasonable shopping, as well as a skate park, roller skating, cinema...
Depends whether you want small or large I guess.

:D Katherine, have you heard about the Weeny Bopper programs at Civic library? They are especially for babies under 12 months. It is a program full of music designed to 'switch on' and develop the neurons linked to literacy.
From what I have seen, the parents and babies love it. The presenters are great too.
Port Lincoln is a good spot ( It's where I live) lots of nice beaches & central to other little towns with nice beaches
