M/C Again

Just found out I MC again :crying: Thats 3 times now... Just about to ring my partner to tell him the news.
I dont know what to do, i dont want to go through this again.

The only good thing that came out of this is that i dont have to have a D & C again. Ive had 2 before and it was horrible.
Should i go to the doctors to see if they can do a test to make sure nothing is wrong with me? :confused:

I'm so sorry for your loss. :hugs: I think it's a good idea to go to the Doctor when you feel up to it, just to have a check and someone to talk to.

If I was in your shoes, I would definitely want some tests carried out to find out if there was a reason, it may be something that can be treated for next time.

I'm so sorry to hear of your losses Tristan's Mum, I know exactly how you feel having recently miscarried my second baby. I am planning to have tests done to see if they can determine what is causing this although my obs told me it's more than likely that no cause will be found and it's just a matter of luck. My way of dealing with this grief is to become as well informed about this as I can be so I am working my way through every book on recurrent miscarriage that I can find so that I know where to from here.

:( i know how scary it is to be pg after mc and the thought of it happening again is terrible, i had 2 mc before my dd's, but if i let my fear take over i wouldnt have them now.

I am so sorry hon. You would need to speak with your dr about testing. I don't know how far along you were but I know that by the third time you can request testing of the tissue you expel so they can check for genetic issues etc..sorry to talk about that but I do know a friend who had it done after the third loss. In her case they found a particular issue with her not being able to carry girls. If they find nothing wrong with the genetics they would probably look further afield to your uterus etc..

So sorry to hear about your loss. I would recommend going to the doctor just for your own peace of mind. I think three miscarriages in a row would warrant getting checked out. :(
