Sorry if this is not the right section to post in. I was just wondering if anyone knows about data entry jobs from home? The few I looked at today all required a start up fee, or registration fee? Is this normal?

Oooooh me to. I have been googling this for months and it seems very popular overseas so I am hoping it's the next best thing here in AUS.

It does seem you can earn a fair amount, it just putting up that money at the start not knowing whether it's a scam or not!

In the past I have seen data entry jobs (from home) that don't have any start up costs, however there is certain equipment you need (ie corded landline number and a specific internet speed) as well as certain necessary experience and qualifications. The job I saw advertised required a diploma in business and I think they wanted someone with 80+ WPM. That isn't me

Hopefully some genuine data entry jobs will pop up soon.

Yeah all the ones I've looked at, you don't need any experience or anything, just a wiling Internet connection they all say dial up is ok so I'm guessing there's no Internet speed limit either. It is a bit sus hey, darn it!
