My son - the clingy bear

Up until last week Sam would quite happily go to sleep by himself during the day and first thing at night, have no trouble being in the bath with his sister and cuddle with daddy. On Thursday and Friday he was sick with vomiting and a little bit of diarrhoea and slept a lot. He got over this and was fine, but now he gets hysterical if I leave him in a room with Amelia or Luke and he just won't settle in his cot by himself at all! He starts off with a complaining cry and so I leave him, but very quickly gets hysterical, so then I get him up. I am sure that he is getting overtired which only makes it worse. To make it worse I go back to work in four and half weeks, and so next week he starts to adjust to daycare (2 weeks for one day, 2 weeks for three days and then full time and I am at work)
