Hi Hubbers

My friends baby shower is coming up and being that I have not yet had a birthing experience of my own I was wondering what your thoughts were on this idea for a gift.

For her:
- A bag containing things she might need in hospie (toiletries, toothbrush and paste, hair clips - short hair so band not req - lip balm, some nice moisturiser etc)

For baby:
- A variey of Gaia baby products

She already has a few kidlets so doesnt need any actual baby gear. She will be birthing in a birthing centre also.

TIA

I think that is a really nice idea!

hi, I think since she already has children, it is a very good idea to give more personal gifts, like body wash or a manicure set, or whatever you have already purchased. I know I would apprieciate that sort of gift more then a few extra baby bibs or whatnot. marie.

I always find the idea that once you have had kids you never need anything and apparently are meant to store *everything* a bit strange. I have visions of houses full of plastic tubs which contain every single piece of baby clothing, toys and bits of pieces piling up in a spare room or having rafters full in the garage to a scary level that would be Oprah show worthy lol

But anywho.. I am sure she would appreciate the toiletries mentioned
