what are the best reciepes to freeze. im planning to cook up some extras for when im in hospital. how long do they keep in the freezer?

spaghetti bolognaise is great for freezing, and keep for ages i think... ive had mine frozen for up to 2 months and still been yummy :)

other things i freeze are semi boiled vegies, home made sausage rolls, chicken casserole, ossobucco, lasagna

I did lasagne, shepherd's pie, spag bog sauce.....pies, stews and casseroles freeze really well - I had some frozen for about 4 months.:)

so how do i go about defrosting them and how long will they keep as wont the meat go off 9 i dont usually freeze meat)

I just take it out of the freezer the morning I want to use it and leave it on the sink. Frozen meat will keep for as long as fresh meat once it's thawed.
