Im having difficulty getting a good feeding "routine" if one can call it that.

DS (7months (7.3kg) wakes around 6am has 200ml bottle - offer solids - but not really interested
10-10.30ish bottle ( not so interested 100ml max) - then some food - more interested in food
2-2:30ish - bottle (100-150ml) food again - ok at that
6-6:30ish bottle ( 200 -250) very tired

I have been offering him a little food after his night bottle- semi interested - but am worried that sending him to bed fairly shortly after a solid feed is not so good.

Most books say to offer bottle first - but I want to try and start getting him into breaky - lunch - dinner scenario ( and snacks)

Any suggestions or alterations to the above routine would be highly appreciated :)

This is our feeding 'routine' - (DS 7 months, on solids for almost 2 months))

6am boob
morning sleep
breaky (somewhere b/w 8-9am)
boob (10ish)
sleep
lunch-will usually eat a whole piece of fruit, mashed obviously! and maybe a 1/4 piece of bread (around 12, no later than 1)
boob (1.30/2ish)
arvo sleep
dinner variety of mashed veg, a full baby bowl if you can imagine that (usually about 4pm, rarely later than 5pm)
bath
boob
bed 6pm

and of course lots of playtime in between! Having said that, the breastfeeds can be all over the place, he'll always have the 4 feeds (sometimes 5) but not always so evenly spread. In the beginning i tried giving breaky after first bf, but DS was never interested so moved it forward and that is working better. As for lunch and dinner I decided one day, lunch would be at 12 and dinner at 6 (due to sleep issues, moved it to 4 as advised by MCHN, has been very successful). Somehow, everything has just fitted! By the way up until the last few days was really only eating lunch and dinner, i would offer breaky, but rarely ate more than two teaspoons, now gobbles down about 4 tb. Also, just cut out night feeds last night so that might change things!!!!

gosh, i've babbled! sorry! any questions let me know!
