When will I know??

DH had eczema as a child, has a history of allergies in the family and has had chronic dry skin his whole life.

DS is 8 weeks old and im wondering if he will have eczema?? he has slightly dry skin on his legs, but hardly nothing.
What age did you first see signs of eczema in your child??

I think it depends on the kids. Both our boys had eczema early on then it disappeared till we moved here and we are on bore water, which is very drying and it also gets very cold here which also dries them out.
Sometimes they have other triggers as well, I guess it's a bit of a waiting game.

My dd got it fairly early too. She still has it now.
Its worse in the winter though so maybe if he has any problems they won't show up till next year. Although like Sarie said other things can set it off like soaps, detergents, certain foods etc.
