Hello everyone,
Just a quick question for some of you experienced IVFers.
I had my tubes tied 3 years ago due to difficulties with my previous three pregnancies. Due to advancements in medical technology, my high risk ob has now advised me I could have an improved outcome with another pregnancy. My husband and I are over the moon, as we desperately wanted another baby.
I have consulted my local ob/gyn who is also a IVF doctor and he has told me I can either have a tubal reversal or IVF to fall pregnant.
I don't know much about either, apart from what I have read on the net and he suggested that both would have the same success rate.
Does anyone have any advise for me about IVF?
Also, does anyone know if IVF in my instance would be covered by health insurance - as technically I am not 'infertile' ????
Thanks so much for your help and good luck to you all.

im not 100% sure but i have no tubes and now have a 14 month old miracle so i am thinking that go the ivf way because if you go for the tubal reversal and you have even the slighest kink in your tube it can cause ectopic pregnanies,(my tubes only had a tiny kink each side and i ended up with 2 ectopics)
And hun i know people who can have children but still go through the ivf for help and its all covered by insurance
:fingerscrossed: with it all hun
feel free to pm me if ever you need a chat:hugs:
