confused-could i be pregnant?

im going undercover cos im in a bit of a pickle. ok i dont know much about charting or ovulation and all that but im worried i might be pregnant. well maybe it would be nice.
anyway, i went off the pill around christmas last year and periods have been quite regular since coming off coming around the 24th of every month give or take two days max and lasting for 5 to 7 days. two periods ago they were 7 days late and lasted for 3 days i did a test at home which was negative and got period next day.
then the next month they were 9 days late and lasted for 3 days but were hardly even there(i usually am a pretty heavy bleeder) now i am 2 days late if i go by last period or 11 days late going by my usual cycle.
what is going on with me!!!
my doc wants me to go get a blood test on thursday.
i am having so much trouble waiting. is it possible that i may be pregnant or is my body just going weird for some reason??
i am not trying for a baby and have used condoms pretty much every time i have had sex (that i can remember-how bad is that)
any replies would be appreciated thank you

Sounds like you are messed up from the pill being it has been happening since you quite the pill. The pill helps our bodies regulate hormones, when you take the pill away it can take a while to regulate again by itself. Sounds as though you haven't began to ovulate again and you are having anovulatory cycles. Anovulatory cycles are shorter, lighter and can have much less pms symtoms with them. See your Dr. for that blood test. I am not syaing it is not possible for you to be pregnant I just think that it is the pill causing your symptoms. It is always best to rule out pregnancy though.

Hmmm... you could be, but maybe not?

The only way to tell is by seeing your doctor and finding out the results!

If it's not pregnancy, your doctor should be able to find out why this is happening.
