Hey everyone,
Started a new mums group for anyone in the Joondalup area. Gonna meet up and a regular basis, catch ups for lunch, park etc. Let us know if your interested : )

Thats awesome, i got a friend of mine who was looking into a mum group to. Thats makes 5 of us of the top of my head, wanted to keep the group kinda small. Why dont we all introduce ourselves here first i'll get in contact with my friend and then we can organize a first catch up : ).
I'm michelle, i'm 20 years old and me and my partner have a beautiful 7 week ol d baby girl.

I am looking for more activities for us to do now as she is starting to really get active and I like to keep her entertained. I am very keen for her to start mixing with other babies/children!

I used to be apart of a mothers grp and these days i just see a few of the mums individually and would like to join one again.

Good to see everyone's so keen : ). How does next wednesday sound at joondalup shopping center? We'll do different things other times if you like, just thought meeting up for lunch for the first one might be easier and a good idea. It's a big shopping center and there's even a park down the road a bit.
Let me know whats you's think or if you have any other ideas? I'm thinking about
1 oclock, can't get out of the house much sooner with my little girl atm. Easiest place to meet up there would be outside the cinema, if you unfarmiliar with the the shopping centre just ask someone and im sure they'll point you in the right direction : )

Hi jess, i am still breastfeeding my bub is 7 weeks old. I was very nervous about breastfeeding in public aswell. At first i just hid in the public toilets parents room : P.. now tho i brought one of those breast feeding covers from toys r us there brilliant!! the curved top ones are the best cause u can still see your bub. Now i breastfeed everywhere : ) much more convenient and u dont feel so isolated when you have to go and hide : ). I can show u one at the shops on wednesday if you havnt seen them before : ). They other day i went to a mums physio class and was comfortably able to feed infront of 20+ people. The breastfeeding cover is brilliant plus u can use it as a sun shade for ur bub in the pram : ).

Oh shell I definitely want to get one of them! Where did you get it? Since i dont have one at the moment ill just bring a muslin wrap and try and find one of them :) Although Mas is starting to throw his arms around so im sure someone walking past is going to cop an eyeful when he rips the muslin off me hahaha!!! oh welll :D

oh CRAP!!stupid facebook!!(actually its my fault but im still gonna blame fb hehe!!) i just tried to make groups out of my facebook friends and i hit DELETE instead of GROUP!! Mondays and Fridays I have to work.. I normally work Wednesdays as well but this week I have to get an aircon installed in my little man's room so i have to work either the Tues or Thurs haha.. I'll do the Thursday if everyone else is okay to meet up on the Tuesday? :)

Tues Guys...sound like the plan. Same place same time..
17th 1oclock, Joondalup shopping center. Meet outside cinema. Just ask for directions if u need them, I'm sure they will be helpful.
The cinema is near the food court (except its outside threw the doors).
Don't wanna confuse you's to much so i wont say anything else unless u ask :P.
Anything any body needs to know about getting there?
Its also extremely easy to get to if your taking the train. : )
For those of you on facebook, if u want i can send my number in case u get lost or need to find us on the day : ).

Normally I would be up for both days but I can't do wednesday this week. Hopefully we can organise one when we can all make it soon :-)

A girl from our group has made a group on facebook now to keep everyone updated, i'm sure they should get back on her from time to time : ). Just get a few of the other girls e-mail as well that way you will always be in contact with someone about catch up in case some are busy : )
