The winner will be crowned Friday and they will be deciding the next recipe for the following Bake-off.

they are fake lamingtons. Instead of chocolate icing they are dipped in jelly!

Thanks Lee :D! Well no I didnt actually eat them, I couldnt bring my self to do it in-case I liked them. They were SO messy to make, and only 5 turned out :o.

thanks for all the votes ladies:) , the real secret to making jelly cakes and lamingtons is to freeze.. well partially freeze the cake... before you dip then in the jelly. then they dont go soggy and loose all their shape, they are much easier to handle:thumbsup: i have the rest of mine in the freezer, individualy wrapped so DH can take one to work each day... that way if i feel like eating one, by the time i would defrost it, i wouldnt be hungry any more hehehe..
