OUCH - How much can I express off?

Okay guys, I'm drying up....my supply dropped by itself and well you proably know the story anyway...Ive posted enough!

Day 3 without expressing (AT ALL....see how low my supply had gotten...no wonder I had to pump every 2 hours) and my boobs are full and SORE....can I express anything off or is it better to ride thru it? I dont want to express any off and have to go thru this again in a couple of days time?

Is taking 30ml or so off going to *boost* my supply?

Express for comfort it doesnt matter how much you take off, your reduction in stimualtion is going to eventually cease production, its the same if you just did one feed a day its actually better for you boobs to slowly wean and reduce the ammount of engorgement (less stress on the tissues and your body gets a chance to fill up the spaces left behind by the milk ducts with fat)

Thanks so much Goosie! I think I'll take some off tonight before bed, I had to sleep on my back last night because my breasts were full.

I might just express every couple of days....and I can keep freezing it so that if Oliver gets sick or anything I have some EBM to give him to help boost his immunity (even if its not as good as the fresh stuff....)
