If you are a doula or student doula near Melbourne's inner West, please feel free to contact me UNTIL JAN 1ST 2011.
We are 21 weeks pregnant with our first child, an IVF miracle, and believe in the benefits of birth support. We live in Yarraville (just over the West Gate Bridge) and I am birthing at the midwife clinic at Werribee Mercy Hospital - 15 minutes down the road.
I am seeking a warm, grouded person to be our Doula. Preferred experience - have already attended at least two births, has children of your own, believes that birth can be a positive experience whatever the circumstance. Doola experience with the CalmBirth program is well regarded.
Note that we are due over the Easter long weekend, so availability during this time is important. My email is miamcg ['at' symbol] gmail [dot] com.
