a bit of a problem

:( my little boy is a groper. I have tried everything to keep his hands away from my boobs while feeding him and it's just impossible. i'm covered in tiny scratches (those baby fingernails are SHARP) and am getting that i want to wean him because of this. i can no longer co-sleep for our naps or bring him into our bed when he's unsettled in the night as he just mauls me. he is only interested in the nipple(s) and short of tying his hands behind his back i'm at a loss on how to fix this.
we have tried keeping them completely covered in thight, thick clothes but as soon as i open up to feed him it's a battle of strength. we have tried giving him other things to play with while he's feeding and he just starts screaming. i have tried wearing an interesting pendant necklace so there's something for him to hold that isn't me and, well the ABA gave me that advice and i still have scratches on my neck from where i nearly got decapitated!
i can hardly pick him up in public as his hands are straight down or up my top (and the look on his face is like this >:D ) and it really is getting that i'm going to have to stop feeding him. i'm kind of over BFing but i know he's not ready to stop so would like to at least make it gradual but he's just completely obsessed.
please help! any advice considered!

ds2 would scratch the hell out of me whilst feeding :o I would tell him "No" in a firm voice, and pull his hands away each time... it took a while.. But eventually as soon as he heard the "ah ah" he would pull his hands away himself :D

sorry dont really have any advice i think dd is heading that way though. while she is feeding she gets my boob in her hand and roll it like she is milking me and gets ****ty wen i take it off her. and then she spits my nipple out and then pulls on it owwwwwwwwww very painfull

Hey you sound just like me :eek: My DD has been doing this since 12 months old, she grabs my other nipple & sometimes yanks it or digs her finger nails in (quite painful!) and there really is a war with us if i dont let her have it. I've tried wearing a neclace or braclet too but that didnt work with us, neither did the distracting her with something else its like the booby is better then anything we can offer :laughing: so now i just cover my other breast with my hand or move her hands away EVERY time she does it. She gets the point eventually even if it does take a tantrum for her to get it. Good luck with it :hugs:

i feel like i need to be an octopus :yes: one arm cradling bub, one hand covering other boob, one handing holding each of bub's arms out of the way, one hand for :shame: at him!!
very glad it's not just me - was beginning to think ozzy's a bit perverted ;)
i have tried "no" and putting him down etc (it worked brilliantly for the very brief biting phase) but this has been going on for about 2 months now. he's a :devil6:
