View Full Version : mums with bubs & pre-schoolers in Brisbane?
hello
we've met lots of nice mums from Brisbane with their new bubs (hello to you all! ) but I also have a 4 year old who doesnt know many people of his own age.
if anyone has kids of similar ages, and knows of any get togethers at local parks or maybe even wants to start meeting up at any, please let me know.
we are west side but have transport.:smiliedance:

Oh yeah sorry well a mixed one then....:smiliedance:
hi everyone
as we are pretty new to brisbane we're still finding our way round suburbs - so was just checking where bracken ridge was!
we have found a few nice parks in the ashgrove area, i suppose thats kind of in between northern and western suburbs? Bancroft park has a truck that ds1 loves in it, and Dorrington park has lots of 'fairy' type things which will keep the girls happy but ds1 loves it too! :smiliedance:
but as we dont know many places we are open to other suggestions.
we are kind of busy for the next couple of weeks, but maybe we could arrange something for the end of the month? as its school holidays we will be needing to get out the house!:D
what do you think?

hello
sorry for taking sooo long to get back on here.
we've been away, had friends round, and school holidays meant no time to myself.
this morning, after dropping ds1 off at pre-school i ended up having to go a long walk to get ds2 to go to sleep. now i'm just home, signed on here for about the first time in a month, and he's just waking up!
anyway, if there is still some interest out there about meeting up on a thursday or friday at a park around the west side, do drop me a PM and i'll try and organise something :smiliedance:
hope to catch up with some of you soon.

Although I'm sthside wouldn't mind a change and can travel. Anyway thursdays would work for me if thats the way it goes, cause my 2 boys absolutely love a run in the park..:yelclap:
I live in middle park and have a 3 year old and an 18 month old. We would love to get together if you are still interested. Maybe The Rocks park or a coffee somewhere were the kids can play. Hope to hear from you.

Hi - did you guys end up catching up?
I have 4 1/2yr old son and little girl due 1 May.
Need to meet more mums with similar age (& not just with girls) that have time to socialise / let kids play.
