yeah okay so i forgot to check the mail on Friday and i just discovered whilst helping DH putting the bins out then checking the letter box for some strange reason that i got my first fluffy mail :smiliedance: :yelclap:

I'm trialing Snuggle butts until my other fluffy mail packages arrive.

So the n00b question arises, When i wash the nappies for the first time to increase absorbancy, do i have to wait for them to dry first and then put them in the wash again ? or can i keep washing once the load is finished IYKWIM.

I hope to god the question makes atleast partial sense

I just kept throwing them back in the wash with each load.

No need to dry them inbetween washes and also you only need to use washing powder/liquid for the first wash. The first wash washes away any product junk left on material and the other washes just increases absorbency and rinces them well.

I have just washed my baby beehinds which seemed to take forever to dry, it's just as well summer is on it's way  I'm use to the pocket nappies which don't take very long to dry. Hopefully this means they will hold a lot of weewee :D
I'll be using them tonight for the first time.

I never even take mine out of the machine for those first washes, I just keep putting it back on with no detergent after the first wash :)

Okay thanx all :hugs:

I put them in 2 x long washes (53mins each) and i've just done 2 x normal washes (36mins each) all on their own of course in a low wash, if that makes sense :o .. i think that should be long enough.

Time to put them in the dryer on low heat, there's no way they would dry today in this weather :gloomy:

Okay so I am obviously the only idiot that has been drying them in between!!!!!!!:banghead: :D

Are the hemparoos supposed to be so "fluffy"? They are "fluffing" all over the nappies and inserts, is that okay?
