Iīm originally from the UK but lived in spain before we moved to Perth in June this year. Iīve got two little ones florrie 3yrs and charlie 5yrs next month. We are living NOR and loving it. My children are in day care two mornings a week but are both starting school in February. Florrie going into kindy 2 days a week and charlie will be going everyday.
There is lots for the children to do here in perth, swimming lessons, kindy dance etc and there are lots of good indoor and outdoor park areas, also nor is hilarys boat harbout which is fantastic if you have children.
How many children do you have and how old are there? Kimx

Hi! My girls are 6 and 3 and I am trying hard to figure out which areas I should consider and what schools will be the "right" ones.

We got a furnished rental for 3 weeks while we looked around , we have a long term rental until mar then we will look for a house of our own. Weīve been lucky my children got into the school we liked even though we donīt live in that suburb, they couldnīt been more helpful and the facilities there were excellent for a government run school. There is a good website which holds lots of information for government and private schools, think itīs edu.com.au. Good luck

Hi Fiona! Unfortunately our plans havent gone as smoothly as we would have liked. My dh is still stuck in AD has he has not been paid his final salary even though he finished in mid-September. Its been a bit of a battle what with Ramadan, Eid, and the general attitude of the people he works for.

Fortuantely his new employer in Perth has been very understanding and has postponed his start date to January, so we should be in Perth in the new year!

Its very exciting! And nervewracking...
