Hi,
I've just found this website and am hoping to make new friends. I am 15 and pregnant (have just found out I am pregnant). I'd love to hear from other people in the same situation, I feel pretty isolated at my school!!

Hi Amber,
Congratulations :goodvibes:
I was pregnant with my first son at 18, and it was tough, i got a bit of negative feedback and my family weren't very supportive, and i lost a lot of friends (but have gained plenty more better ones!)
If you can, ask your doctor or hospital if there is a young mothers antinatal program or similar, I went to a great one while i was pregnant and recieved so much help and support, there are a few that run in QLD. not sure about other states though.
Congratulations again :)

Thanks for your messages!! The Father of my child is still around and has agreed to help me, we're still together.
My Mother was 16 when I was born. She married my Dad when I was 4 years old, they had 2 more children and then separated when I was 11.
My Mother is actually okay about my pregnancy. I mean, she was disappointed at first and said she wanted better for me, but now she's more than okay and she's acting as if this is going to be HER baby!! She is only 31 years old, and she keeps referring to this baby as "My last baby"!! She insists I finish school and says she will take leave from her job to care for the baby full time.
It's not that I don't appreciate everything she's doing, but I feel like I'm not going to get a say in the life of my own baby.

Hi there, first of all Conrgats! I am currently 18 and 30weeks 4days pregnant. I understand its hard and people do judge but dont listen to any of them okay trust me there not worth it! and if I were you I would sit down with your mother and tell her this is YOUR child and you will rasie it as YOURS not hers! I have told my mother many times to back off! I think they get a little protectiive or something but I dont want her help, if i need it ill ask for it otiher wise she can back off.
