hi:wave:
im not sure where to post this. im just wondering if any parents with 3 or more kiddies could help me out?
do you think its harder so to speak to have say 3 than 2?
my 2 are 21 months apart and i want a third but am worried i wont cope.
is it really more of a strain financially?
how hard is it to get around with 3?
do you think a good routine is needed-do i have to be strict with it or can i be a bit relaxed?
we have a 2001 magna(not sure of exact model) and i currently have 2 maxi riders, would i fit another carseat/capsule in it or wuold we need a new car?
thanks heaps

cel:D

im sure i will think of more things to ask:o

Is it harder to have 3 over 2?? Not really, you are more busy though. But I have 2 at school, so I have to do a ton of homework and home reading, plus wash their uniforms and make their lunches etc.

More expensive.......in the first year because you are buying formula. After that, not really.

My 3rd child was born when my older 2 were 5 and 6, so I don't know what it would be like to have 3 under 5.

We have a 2002 magna wagon. I used to fit 2 of the little booster seats (the ones with the base only) plus a safe n sound car seat in there.

hi cel i was recently a mother of 2, having given birth to number 3 just 7 weeks ago. i always like things at home and wot not to be routine, but since having number 3, that all went out the window, but am slowly trying to get some sort of routine worked out. i have 3 girls dd1 is at school, dd2 goes to kindy 2 days per week, as well the girls have the extra activities, and then there is dd3 who likes to feed every 2hrs

all of my mornings are frantic trying to get out of the house to get dd1 to school on time, or dd2 off. but we manage! (just :o )

having said all of this, my family is now complete, i always wanted 3, but im so glad ive got some gaps in between, couldnt do them any less.

as for a car? well i have a nissan pulsar plus, that holds a booster seat and the capsule, and my eldest fits snug in the middle. we are looking to buy a bigger car.;)

can get pretty hectic.. i had number 3 when ds1 was 16 months, having the Boys close together was a bit of a struggle.. But a positive is that DD is the best helper... and she Loves playing with her brothers when mum needs a bit of a break

Hi there,
I have 3 children - 4, 2 and 4 months. I personally found it more of a shock going from 1-2 rather than 2-3. Once you have your routines etc down, no. 3 just slots right in! It is busy - someone always needs you at any one time, and sometimes they all do!! We have a double pram and drive a Kia Carnival as we found that was needed to fit 3 car seats in. I find it is really important to be as organised as possible and stick to routines during the day - makes life less chaotic. This can be hard in thr early days but once youi get through the first couple of months, it gets easier - especially when you're less sleep deprived!
Can't say I've noticed a big difference financially. I guess we already have all the baby gear, clothes etc. Down the track it might be different as they get older though- with swimming lessons etc.
Some days I do find it a handful but other days I think about number 4!
I guess the early years are always going to be busy, but one day they'll all be at school.
Enjoy your babies!

Unless you are like me and sold everything after babies 2 and 3 because you weren't having any more kids. :gloomy:
