Did you have dreams of a gender when pg and did it happen?

Hi all,

When i was pg with my ds I kept having dreams of giving birth to a boy now this time around I keep having dreams its a girl. Whos had dreams like this when pg and did it come true? :santa:

I was convinced right throughout my pregnancy that I was having a boy just a feeling. But then I had a dream of a pink hat in our bassinette. Sure enough it was a girl. The dream was correct

I dreamt twice I was having a girl but had a boy. Afterwards I read that its more common to get the opposite of what you dream.

I dreamed about a baby girl and got a boy :-/ OH well!

Though before finding out the gender my dad said to me 'stop calling my grandson a she!'

Pretty much everyone bet against me!!!

With ds i dreamt twice that I was having a girl, I aslo got a baby girl out of a kinder suprise. Well I was shocked when I got ds. lol

With dd I was certain I was having another boy, i had dreams she was a boy aswell. Again that was wrong

I thought the universe was trying to tell me something. Worked out completely opposite :laughing:

I had dreams with my first and it was always a boy I had a boy. This time I had girl dreams and our scan said girl. I think it's more to do with strong feelings I had. Because I always knew my first was a boy my dreams matched, same this time :)

I dreamt I had a boy and I had a boy . And my dream was a besutiful one thst came absolutely true .

I'm ashamed to admit that before having ds I had always been all for girls , I didn't want a boy ( god, just typing thst makes me feel so ashamed of myself ) losing mum at a young age , and being so close to my sister and dad , I was desperate to experience a mother daughter bond, sorta like experiencing what I'd missed out on ..But just in reverse iygwim. I was worried a boy wouldn't stay close to me when I was older like we were to dad .

Then I had this amazing vivid dream . I
had a boy , he was placed on my chest and I could FEEL , just feel even in the dream the most strongest love possibly , so overwhelming that I kept saying over and over in the dream , " how could I have not wanted a boy? I'm so utterly in
love with you already " .

Dream came true :-) I was utterly infatuated , and ds stole my heart the
instant I had him placed on my chest .

Ooooh this is interesting!!! I don't feel as crazy now!! With DD I was having Boy vibes all pregnancy then about 2wks before she was born I had a girl dream, but didn;t say as I was insistant the whole way thru it was a Boy!! Ooop!

This time around I had a dream at 6 wks that made no sense to me. I had been getting "somethings wrong" vibes sine the BFP and then i had a dream of a shrivelled bub (sorry too graphic but it the best way to describe what i saw) But then i saw myself at the end of the preg having a healthy chubby blonde little boy. Bizzare!! The next day I started spotting and when i finally got the courage up to go to the Docs and get a scan there was evidence of a gestational sac that my OB believes was the twin to my still healthy bubba.
Now we just have to wait till June to find out if it is that little boy in my dreams.

No i didnt with ds but had a strong feeling from the start he was a boy but my sister not only kept dreaming her dd was a girl but her name appeared in her dream and she named her that when she was born. I think paiton is a beautiful name too lol

i haven't had a strong thought either way...

When my mum was pregnant with me however she had a dream...In the dream she had a baby girl who was 8lb 11oz, 56cm long, with dark brown hair and blue eyes...She named her ******** ****** (sorry wont put the name for privacy reasons)...it was a name she hadn't previously considered.

A few months later i was born and all the stats were 100% correct! She named me the name from the dream. :D

I kept having dreams of a blue eyed little boy. They were so realistic I was sure I was having a boy - but DD arrived instead.

With my first I had a dream my MUM had a baby boy.....and kept having that dream before I knew I was pregnant, and was BOY...

With my second I dreamt I was having a girl and yup a little girl!

When I was PG with DD I had a lot of dreams of having my 19 week scan and the doctor saying it was a girl - the dream was so real even down to the doctor who regulary does the scans. When we found out we were having a girl I was not suprised at all as I just knew it all along. Since I have had DD I have regulary had dreams that we will have another baby and it will be a boy....... watch this space :xmas:

thanks for all your replies. The dream i had the other night was of me giving birth and it was a girl and i felt so happy and relaxed and positive. I woke up feeling so content. We'll just have to see if it comes true.
