My 2 1/2 dd has been fully toilet trained (day and night, wee & poo) for over four months - at her insistance - barely ever an accident. (wouldn't use a potty, step or ring, but insisted on perching of the edge of the toilet)

Last week DP and I went away for a week (either that or have a melt down)

The problem is DD has now regressed several months ever since we came home. She npw crawls occassional, (originally walked at ten months), demands a dummy (alway refused one until now), demands a bottle and will not use the toilet, but has asked for nappies. She also now won't eat some foods (sausages, chicken nuggets)

I'm at wits end and now approaching another melt down.

She has always been a handful, and has rarely ever slept well, crawled, walked and spoke waaaaaaaaay to early, and I think I am still going to have a melt down.:gloomy:

hmmm hard one.. i have no idea, but to just encourage her that she is a big girl now, and reward her when she does use the toilet and uses a big cup and not use her dummy (maybe get her to throw it in the bin?? or pretend that its lost??) i know how you feel, my first girl went through this for a little while when i had my second girl, but she soon realised that she was a big girl. anyhow, hope this helps in some way.. good luck! :fingerscrossed:

*bumping up the thread*
I know my DD who is nearly 3 has gone backwards slightly in the last 6 months, in that she's now insisting on having her dummy more often. Silly me had hoped to be rid of it by now. She has also from time to time played at being a baby - though we have no other little ones in the house for her to be competing for attention with. Maybe it is partly a phase that some toddlers go through?

Good luck.
