Meet up #2

Hey thought I would start a new thread as the other one was getting a bit long as for meeting on a weekend so partners can get involved sorry but not too keen on that idea yet my husband works from 7am till about 5pm weekdays and by the time he gets home Kaleb is having a sleep then we go to bed early so at this stage weekends are just for Paul to spend time with Kaleb maybe further down the track but i'm up to meeting again during the week.:smiliedance:

Hey,

I'm pretty easy with meeting up, i have no life so i am free most of the time. Except Tuesday's as i think i will be taking Anna to the fun Bus in Coconut Grove on a regular basis, but even that is only til 11.30am anyway so yeah pretty easy.

I too have a very limited life! Getting all the washing done is a busy day for me now days!

Any day is fine by me. Liz where abouts in Coconut Grove is the Fun Bus? Jack and i might pop by sometime too :)

Leigh - i should have given you the details on Wednesday as i had it all in my nappybag. oh well

the fun bus goes from 9.30am til 11.30am it is at Old McMillans Park, on Old McMillans Road, it is right behind the Tennis Courts on Bagot Road.

It is from Ages 0-5years old, there is no charge but you are asked to bring a piece of fruit to share at morning tea.

What does everyong think of East point? Plenty of grass, trees for shade and playgrounds for older kids. We could all bring a plate and make it a picnic.

Liz, I'm assuming you know where the Fanny Bay Racecourse is :)

YOu go along **** Ward Drive towards the city, past the race course, just past the set of Fanny Bay shops where The Cool Spot is, you turn right down East Point road and just keep going straight. There is a man made lake with bbqs and parkland. If you keep going even further there is an Aero-Modellers club, Equestrian culb, and a military museum - there is left over war time buildings there.

Around the lake somewhere would probably be best.

hey all
Sorry havent replied in a while, Wow what a week! DH has gone away with army for a week thank goodness he is back friday!! I am really worn out doing everything and DD started to be unsettled at night hopefully just missing daddy and will be better when he comes home.
As for meet up again i am going away to Townsville for two weeks next Tuesday so i will have to catch up with you all again when i get back.
Hope all are well and bubs are doing well too!!

thanks for welcoming me everyone..even though u dont know me!!.lol i work in childcare have done for like nearly 7 years now... Im really sorry i dont think i will be able to make it next wednesday but as i have 2 doctors appointments that day... :(
but im sure we will meet soon.. I found out last week that im probably havoing a girl but they are not certain... i wanted a girl.. does snybody know how accurate the ultrasounds are at determining bubs sex???

I think they are usually pretty accurate. But if they say you have a boy its almost certain - if they say you have a girl, they cant always be sure.

I've had a few friends whose 'girls' have turned out to be little men ;-)

80% certain is as high as they will go for saying a certain sex.

I never rely on them though, even though the 2 times they told me what i can expect have come true, i have just heard people's stories so i always remind myself it could be the opposite.
I have heard a story about a lady being told 3 times she was having a boy all at different ultrasounds, same pregnancy and it turned out she was having a girl!!

James screamed as well, and so did his sister (I think she cried more than he did!). He wasn't so much grumpy, but he did sleep for ages that day/night. Hope Jack does ok for the rest of the day.
