Just a question my EX's new EX is about to put an AVO against him.
She has come to me with concerns for our daughters safety when she goes to stay with him.
Does her AVO have any affect on my EX's and I parenting plans? Can I use it as a means to limit his visitation?? I am very concerned after hearing how he's yelled and shouted at our daughter (only a few months old at that time).
She's going to be 9 months old soon, and I am worried if he continues to yell at her, she's going to wind up being verbally abused later on.
I am not sure what to do. Can someone please help?

U definately need legal advice, and trust your insticts and push for it dont settle for any less!!

my ex and i have been broken up for 2.5 years we have a 3 year old daughter and i settled for numerous things i didnt really like or i didnt feel were quiet right. My lawyer was a young male with no kids, i dont think he really worked for me and my daughter to get the best deal.

There has been drama after drama with my daughter and her dad and his multitude of girlfriends his family and his drinking habits.

We now do changeovers at the police station as i dont trust him and i am trying to push now for limited visitations and only supervised visitations at that.

In the orders it states that no one is to smoke around her, but both him and the current girlfriend smoke, my daughter has asthma and comes home coughing and wheezing......it sucks as if u catch him in person doing it its ur word against his, i have shown her to the police stinking of smoke, i have doctors certificates everything but u cant do anything about it......grrrr......

so.....sorry to get off track.......but it really is important to find a lawyer and get one who will do their best for you and your child and dont settle for anything that is not right or ur not comfortable with
