I am struggling to think of a Christmas present for one of my best friend's daughters.

She is quite an introverted child, as in she likes to play by herself and is sort of in a "fantasy land".

I've never actually seen her play with a toy so don't know if she likes something in particular - she prefers to play with her dogs.

Help?!

a couple of dress up items perhaps? not the disney sort that are all over the shops but think of different things such as a sun hat and some gardening stuff so she can be a farmer (that was the best one that came to my mind sorry)

We went out this morning looking for dd1's b'day present and what we came up with is at d!ck smith they have some kids chemistry kits, but more specifically is ones aimed at girls - perfume, bath bombs, make up, relax etc. They say 10+, but if supervised by an adult I can see my dd1 enjoying it. They range from $15-30 depending on which one you choose. Other than that was books, a new beach towel, clothes etc.

Matching princess or fairy or ballerina costumes for her and her dog - I am being serious. It's sweet, thoughtful for that little girl and fun. Plus encourages imaginative and cooperative play.

Its a cushion that you can use for a pillow. They come in different sorts of animals and are about $20.
