Hi Guys
Just wondered if any of you have trouble (well not exactly trouble) but concerns with your bub sleeping too much!!! She is 4 1/2 months old now and seems to be sleeping more now then when she was newborn!!

Olivia's general sleep pattern is as follows;
Wake 7-7.30am
Bed 8.30-9.30am
Bed 11.30-3ishpm
Bed again 4.30-5 and then i have to wake her to get her pj's on!!
so normally wake her about 6.30pm and then by just after 7pm she is ready for bed!!!

So not much time to play really, but otherwise she is growing well and is generally always happy and laughing! I'm not moaning about her sleeping this much obviously but jusat wondered if that was the norm at this age??

Cheers for your suggestions/opinions
Ems and a very sleepy Olivia :)

I've read that the sleepiness can be an indicator of the end of a growth spurt, IYKWIM. Like, a baby will have a growth spurt, then for the next little while be very sleepy, sleep alot. Something to do with the fact that their little body needs to recharge and get ready for the next stage of life.

If she's generally happy, still gaining weight (regardless of how much) and having enough wet nappies, then I'd be just thankful for the rest!!:laughing: Soon enough, her routine will change (like all babies, just when we're used to something they change it).

That's a gorgeous avatar BTW :thumbsup:
