River festival- whos going?

I know the river festival is coming up as I got invited by a friend to go with her and have a girls night out with 2 of our other friends but im not sure on the date when it starts :confused: Anyone else going? I dont think I will this year- too crowded for me!!

Ooo DP, the dude and I have been invited to a party at a house on the river... we are going to have front row seats :D . I can't wait to see Luka's reaction to the fireworks - I hope he likes them.

I think it is an absolutely shocking waste of money, especially the F1-11 dump and burn. Surely taxpayers money could be better directed, firstly to all the homeless folk who live along the river who will be kept awake half the night with the loud noises.

Every year Chris and I go to a shopping Centre car park roof with some friends and watch the festivities.. I remember saying last year that "Imagine, next year we'll be bringing someone else along." :)

That's what I was thinking last year too!!

I'm going to get front row seats too :) My band is playing at a gig at the Maritime Museum in the afternoon and they are letting us stay there for the fireworks if we want to :)
