DH me and the kids are heading down that way some time in the new year and not knowing a single soul would like to pick your brains on good areas, schools, docs, etc and also would love to meet you all and organise some playdates etc

i must admit when i seen your post earlier in the dubbo thread i jumped on whereis.com to find out just how far you'd be LOL

how are you finding the central west??? like i said earlier we aren't down there yet but :fingerscrossed: hopefully we get some news come the new year

proudmama - I live in the central west area in Cowra its about an hour away from parkes I didnt grow up here so I dont know to much about they area either not when it come to doctors and that. Especially since I only just got my first BFP yesterday being only 19 years old I would understand if you didn't want to be friends but I saw that your also in the Aug '11 group like me and that it would be a nice journey with you! and that you already have 2 kids it would be nice to get some advice from you while we go through this journey! :babydust2:

Hey Proudmuma, i lived in Parkes for 9 months pre children. Was a nice town and the people were friendly. I worked at the mine so met people through work and also DH's work. Don't know much about schools, doctors etc but just wanted to let you know that we enjoyed our time there, although wouldn't want to be there at the moment, might need a boat LOL

hey Proudmumma, did you end up moving to Parkes???? Just being a sticky beak as we are moving to Orange in about 4 weeks time (1 hour away)
