What do you think about a family day out up the sunshine coast? Say a day in Montville, or the famous Eumundi markets, or perhaps something else a little bit more exciting for the kiddies. :)
Or perhaps a picnic at [text deleted by moderator - identifying info]???
What do you think? It would be a great way to get the lovely ladies from Brissy to come up....
I was thinking maybe about mid Oct or so...
Suggestions taken....
I love Maleny and everything around it so any of those ideas suit me just fine! I have particularly fond memories of [text deleted by moderator - identifying info] so i would love to have a bubhub picnic there! It such a beatiful area with lots of play room for kids!

Any chance we could do something of a weekend?
Weekdays are going to be out for me from now on (had a bit of a "thing" with the bosses at work this week).

Excellent!
Hey, maybe we should post a link to this thread in the Brisbane section, so that anyone from down south who'd like to come up for the day will see it?
Just as a heads up, if you're thinking October (great time of year for it, weather should be great!!) there will be one Saturday mid-month-ish that I won't be available, as we are planning Claire's birthday party.
We've yet to decide if it will be the 7th or the 14th (tricky when her actual birthday's on a Wednesday!)

We're going away mid-October but the other weekends should be fine. Montville or Maleny would be wonderful though!:D

Has anything been decided on this yet? :detective:
ElizaDee
12-09-2006, 12:41
No have not decided on this one yet, I have been busy having Spencer and recovering from the c/s.
I like the idea of [text deleted by moderator - identifying info] a picnic lunch.
So now all we need is a day?? Sat or sun?
MrsMiggins
12-09-2006, 13:16
I'm happy with either a Sat or a Sun. I will not be able to make it on either Saturday the 7th, or Saturday the 14th though (October).
Hopefully this nasty weather will have well & truly buggered off by then! :gloomy: :D
any day is good for us!
If people are going away sorta mid october maybe we should do it like the 2nd sunday... i think its the 8th?? just a suggestion!
ElizaDee
22-09-2006, 20:34
The 8th is my DH's birthday and we already have plans.
How about the 15th or the 22nd of Oct at [text deleted by moderator - identifying info]and bring your own lunch and a blanket incase we can't get enough tables.

 Don't tell me you are getting them from the banana guy at the Bulcock Street markets on Sunday morning?!??!
We get them from him most Sundays if I can get out there with DD early enough! (You have to get there pretty early! What time would you guys have to leave?!)

28-09-2006, 15:24
That's the one LOL.
I'm going to be there all weekend - DP is taking me up Saturday and we have a spa room at Rydges ;) I'm being spoilt. I just want the bananas though. They were so lovely last time! What time do the markets open?
Bump Bump!
Hey girls! Just bumping this.. who's still coming? Hubby & I will be there!
Is there anywhere that we'll meet? I don't know the park very well, but maybe if someone does they can pick out a landmark... in any event, I'll have pink ribbons on my pram at the least :)
MrsMiggins
15-10-2006, 20:52
I have never been there either, but we are definitely coming!! Glad to hear you're still in Seekrit!
I have a pram ribbon too.... well, I did until DD pulled it off!! I have another one though, so I'll try to remember to put it on before we come! :D
ElizaDee
15-10-2006, 20:54
When you get there you will understand, its easy to find and to find us too since everyone has met me! I will try to be early for you all....

Hi guys.
I just went through & deleted all references to the time & place of our meet (to save us from any nasties!!)
If anyone needs the details, PM ElizaDee who is organising this one, or you can PM me, as I have actually written it down so that I don't forget!! ;)
(ED - are you able to PM me the link to the other thread/s which are inviting people to this meet and I will clear them up as well? Cheers!)

aaww what a shame, just read that it's the 22nd.. I am photographer for a pink ribbon function that day.. oh well next time!!
Has someone had a wierdo show up at an event or something.
It is a pain not having the details when you need them.
MrsMiggins
18-10-2006, 20:49
Yeah, I know! Sorry about that Deb.
But it was decided to warn people about posting details of meets in the threads because in theory anyone could come across this site and decide to come along - welcome or not.
I have chosen to delete the info from this thread because I would hate to think that there was some filthy pervert coming just to oggle our beautiful babies!
Better to avoid it before it actually does happen one day! :)
Do you have the info for this one? I can PM it to you if you like?
is this still on? wondering whether to go or not as it is quite wet so bubs won't be able to go on the ground. will try and txt you
It's still on Deb! We've decided to meet in the park still but if it's too wet we may go back to ED's house! I think that's the plan anyway. She's been trying to call you! :)
ElizaDee
22-10-2006, 08:50
I have txtd back! The ground will be quite wet. We have some back up plans in place. The brissy ledies are on thier way up, meet at the agreed spot and we will take it from there. :fingerscrossed: The weather changes soon. :)
Sorry ladies but I am going to pull out as if I can't put Ty down on the ground to crawl around I won't be able to enjoy myself as he will be grizzly and squirmy on my lap and wont stay in the pram. :gloomy: He just wants to get down and do things now as he is very active.
Great day out, thanks ED!
Lovely to meet you MrsMiggins! and it was great to meet Spencer & Claire! :)
Sorry to mis syou Debsta, maybe next time :)
