unidentified twins??

hi there just wondering orther people's stories of unidentified twins... this is pregnancy number 4 and my 1st u/s showed identical twins and the next u/s only 1??? i thought nothing of it and just maybe it went "away" but im experiency a :TOTALLY" different pregnancy from my other 3 and im HUGE!!! im currently 33 weeks and look like im way overdue all baby and no fluid it feels like.:o

Do you mean vanishing twin? Its actually pretty common to have and has only been really discovered since early ultrasounds have been introduced. I wouldnt think it would really impact on the rest of your pregnancy though as in most cases the twin 'vanishes' up until 9 weeks or so.
Both the Drs and yourself would be able to tell that there are 2 in there at this point of your pregnancy. I know I could feel 2 different babies and could distinguish between who was moving. Usually there is also a heap of fluid for both babies. Often when a multiple pregnancy's water breaks, its like Niagra falls!! Perhaps being your 4th pregnancy your tummy muscles are looser?
