Hope this is in the right section, apologies if it's not.

I have my 19w u/s next week and I am desperate to find out the gender of the baby. I will be shattered if he/she is facing the wrong way.

Any tips of ensuring it's the right way to get a full frontal view? or do you just have hope for the best?

Thanks ;):fingerscrossed:

i would say you would just hope for the best that baby is in a position to show otherwise look forward to a surprise gender

I think you just have to hope for the best hun!!

I think though that at the halfway mark there is more of a chance for bubs to be in a good position for the gender display, rather than earlier on in pregnancy.

Both my girls have had their legs spread for the u/s so i'm hoping the same for this one :fingerscrossed:

haha damn I figured that would be the case. I'll just be extra nice to bub for a week and ask politely if he/she will pretty please face the right way for mummy!

Hmmm...Well I know having a cold or sugary drink makes bubby move around so...maybe take a cold water or a coke in with you and if bubby isn't in the right position maybe try drinking it and hope they shuffle into a better position? Sorry, this might be silly advice, but still...no harm in trying?

I made sure that I had a cold fizzy drink and some red frogs to give bib a bit of a sugar hit to get her moving around so she didn't stay in the 1 position
