Folic acid n morning sickness

Just wanted to get some answers,
I've got really bad morning sickness n haven't been taking my folic acid tablets coz I can't keep em down .
Is it gonna affect my baby coz I haven't been taking them? Just thought of taking tablets makes me wanna spew , I haven't even been taking a vitamin ???

In my first pregnancy I took them for the first 3 months and was as sick as a dog, stopped taking them and stopped throwing up.

I took maybe 6 the whole time I was pregnant the second time, they did bloods throughout the pregnancy and my levels were always fine
