Hi---
My husband and I having been trying to have a second child for nearly 4 years now.
Well, my first atemp was taking clomid up to 100 mgs, did'nt work.
Then, a year or so later, tried clomid again. After completing a round of 50 mgs, my dr. said he could'nt give give me any more.
Said, my husband's sperm anlysis came back with some abnormal sperm morphology. He said that could be the reason why i was'nt getting pregnant.
My dr. refeared me to another dr. and said my husband should see a urologist. he also thought that It might be a good idea to look into doing a IUI. I got really excited at the idea of IUI.
Can this procedure be made affordable? I really hope so.
If not, I guess that will be the end of trying.
if somebody could let me know what they think, that would be great!
thanks, Kris

I don't know exactly, but I know its a lot cheaper than IVF. Its very quick, and not invasive at all - IUI is a really good option to try.

HI KJscain

There is a thread here: http://members.*************.com.au/index.php?showtopic=258331 with some info on costs.

Try a public hospital; I know RPA in Sydney you can go thru public health system and claim most on Medicare. Much cheaper than going with a private clinic
