Just wondering how long after your bubs had the 18 month needle did the allowance money come through....is it done automatically or do you have to go and fill out something first at the FAO?

You should get a letter as they need to make sure all the details are up to date so maybe give them a call & check.

i have heard of people being paid before their bub was 18 months as well as when their bub is 18 and 19 months it all depends on how soon they check details etc.

You take the MCHN book (if all the details of every immunisation is on it and stamped) or the form from medicare that states your child is up to date to the centrelink after 18months but before 2 years old. They then make a copy of it then thats it.. they put it in your account less then 2 weeks after you went in.

Oh Yeah
I totally forgot about that payment - and the 18month immus are coming up !

I think there's something on the Centrelink website about the payments...

Thanks for the reminder though:thumbsup:
