What do you wear to bed so you don't leak in the bed???
I am finding I am leaking alot during a sleep I feel restricted in a bra. I thought of a singlet but find them hard to lift up to feed at they are tight fitting. I need something I can put breast pads in.
Any ideas???

I don't wear a bra to bed, just a tshirt or nighty. I found that I only leaked a few times, and after the first couple of months haven't leaked at night at all. BUT I did look into this issue before he was born, as a "just in case" measure. And I like the look of this (http://www.boobybibs.com.au/breast-feeding-aid.php)

If I had a leakage problem, that's what I'd be getting.

yeah, what a pain. I am still figuring this out. so far I have "worn" one of bubby's flannel wraps under my pyjamas, a t shirt with breast pads in it and some nights I just let it leak.

Now, I am going back to investigate the link from the_queen...

I wore a crop top. I then just slipped the nursing pads in when I was leaking heaps. The crop top is softer than a bra but still gives you the support (I felt like my boobs were going to fall off when I was breastfeeding!!)

I wore Bonds singlet tops with the built in bra (hardly a bra!) but it meant I could put breastpads in and be able to feed easily.

I leak alot during the night too, and have also found the bonds singlet tops with the built in 'bra' fantastic, as Young mum Steph did. there's similar tops in the Lingerie section at Target. I am quite large busted and like you find bras really restrictive and not comfy at nights. these tops hold in the breast pads well and I just slip off the spagetti (sp?) strap to feed over night.
Hope this helps.

Hamish was a Dec bub so I wanted to remain cool in the night. I always wear an old tshirt and I used to stuff a terry nappy against my boobs while he was feeding. I also bought from K-mart some of those disposable change mats (like a bluey in the hospital) and put it between the sheet and mattress, so I didn't leak onto our new mattress.
Leaking should subside within a couple of months and you'll find you'll only leak when baby is feeding. Good luck!:)

i used one of those waterprofed cot protectors between the mattress and sheet and then a towel between me and the sheet. the towel was good when bubs decided to chuck up all over the bed. it is easier to wash a towel than the sheets.

i also used to wear crop tops, as my boobs were too big for a bonds singlet.

Thankyou girls for all the excellent responses. I will go and purchase a bonds singlet and crop top. I don't huge ones so should be able to fit those tops. I am really sick of waking up with a soaked bra, and rolling on a wet patch. I thought I might give myself a chest cold with all the moisture leakage.

i bought some cheap singlet tops and got breast pads that have a sticky bit on the side that allows them to stick to you top... I just got singlet tops with fairly wide necs and i can slip it to under my boob when i need to feed i find this great!

I used to wear a tight v neck singlet top with breast pads, then you don't have to lift your top up you just pull the top down IYKWIM

I don't know if this is coincidence and my body's adjusting to not having to feed through the night but I found once I started just wearing a Bonds singlet not bras I leaked less.
Except the night I wore nothing to bed! It was flooded in the morning:eek: !

I wear loveable maternity singlets. They have a built in bra, but is a loose fit. I also wear them during the day with my regular maternity bra; they are good if you are out and lift up your top for feeding, the singlet keeps you covered!! They cost about & $70 for a pack of 2. I looked up the loveable website to find my nearist stockist. I would advise to ring first as I found that not that many stores had them.
