Diabetes

My DP and i have been TTC #2 for about 12 months now.We already have a DS who is 2yrs old.About 9 months ago DP was diagnosed with diabetes.We had an appointment with our GP who sent my DP to have his "swimmers" tested.We are now eagerly waiting for the results (sometime next week).I guess i'm asking if anyone out there has maybe been through something similar,could diabetes be a male fertility issue.If results come back as all good,i'm tested next.I may sound like a ***** but i'm hoping it is his "swimmers" as there is assistance for us.Maybe harder if its me.
Would love some feedback and/or advice.

I'm type 1 diabetic and as far as I'm aware there shouldn't be any issues with fertility with male diabetics. Women should have super tight control while carrying a baby when diabetic. It might be worth checking with your partners endocrinologist.

I've never heard of any issues with males having Diabetes.
