another sutherland shire mum

hello:wave: we have recently moved to the sutherland shire and dont know anyone and were seeking playdates! thats me and my spirited little girl who is 2half years, we cosleep, use cloth nappies and try to live a healthy life, im expecting bub #2 at the beginning of dec and were planning a homebirth.
it would be great to hear from anyone with children the same kinda age who wants to meet up:)

Hi Natural Mum & Anyone else that reads this,

Just wanted to let you all know of a mothers group that a couple of my friends and I have started, it is called shire kids play time, and we are basically a bunch of mothers with kids ranging from 3 months to 4 years, lots of 2,3 year olds, who got sick of being bored and wanted adult interaction, and were sick of not being made to feel welcome at playgroups.

We currently meet up two days a week, (we did this as some people could do one day but not another) so currently we meet up every Thursday and Friday at various locations around the shire. Any mother or expectant mum is welcome and we are a friendly bunch.

We have had meet ups at our houses, Mcdonalds, Playcentres and now the weather is getting warmer we are hoping to do parks, and the beach. We are open to ideas as it can be hard each week thinking of things to do.

I have 2 kids, 2 boys aged 2.5 and 4 years and I have another bub on the way due in February.

I am fairly new to the beautiful Shire also. Great idea on the shire playkids Anita. I can't do Thursday and Friday, but interested in trying to meet up on a Monday or Wednesday with anyone thats free. Can just be informal. The Como Pleasuregrounds (down by the little marina) is great this time of year if anyone interested.

I am interested in traditional foods and natural remedies. Our boys are 3yrs and 1yrs, but they like kids of any age.

Also interested in tennis and finding a tennis partner and get the Dad's on duty for a couple of hours in the weekend.

Hi Jayden's mum and congratulations on arrival of number 2. I am about to go to take the kids to my mum's for a week while my darling husband moves house for us.
