DD had to draw 2 things on her homework sheet this week. One thing she drew was a doll that looks like a voodoo doll with knives and needles all through it but she said it's just a doll  I asked her what's all in the doll and she said nothing it's just a doll but clearly it has knives and needles in it! Just wondering if it's worth getting a copy of it for the psychologist or to believe her and just tell myself maybe it's thread? What would you think if your child drew something like that?
Not sure.
My SS drew my DP a fathers day card which appeared to have 3 penises on the front , yet when we asked him about it he said they were screws and nails LOL.
She may have seen something on tv or in a book and just drawn something from that.

Well if she sees a psychologist anyway, why not? For a while I was keeping a scrapbook of ds's drawings, storys, his childcare workers gave me copies of their daily diary entries, just so I could show the paediatrician

I would be worried if it was my child.
I dont think any harm could come from showing it to your DD's psychologist.
