any tips on boosting my iron levels? I don't eat red meat. I am taking iron tablets.

Im a vegan so this is always a problem I have.

Make sure you take your iron suppliments with a glass of OJ, it needs vitamin C for your body to properly absorb the iron.

Also milo, the drink, it really high in iron too.

I'm also vegan and my iron is in the low end of normal, for the first time ever :) (it was also very low before)

Iron tablets are great but also eating foods like leafy greens will increase your iron levels.

Yeah spinach is good source!! I love adding it to my risottos and such!

My midwife told me not to take the iron tablets with food as ur body only takes so much in at a time, I'm going to get iron with vc to boost my iron up they have picked it up early for me thank god
