Hello,
I've been quietly working on a business idea from home for a while. Can't talk too much about it. And, through a stroke of luck, something really good has happened in terms of a bit of unexpected positive PR. To make that piece of PR work well for me, I think I need advice from a mentor now.

Does anyone/Has anyone got a mentor or know how to go about getting one.

all advice appreciated.

I'd start with a good accountant, or a short business management course at the local tafe

Good Luck:fingerscrossed:

There is a business course run through the body shop called business babes or something like that...I believe it's free! My sister did it a while ago when she was starting her new business.

Accountants are one track number cruchers who typically don't have enough imagination and are too risk adverse to tell you what you can do with your business. Get the help of an older executive and shoot the breeze ... that's much more effective.

Try NEIS (New Enterprise Incentive Scheme) program maybe? On top of advice and lessons on how to start your business, you can get financial support from the government for around a year.
