Best home HPT for 4 days before AF?

Ok, so DP is being sentimental and wants me to pee on a stick on Fathers Day..:rolleyes: thats on Sunday and AF is due Wednesday. Is there a particular brand that i can get from the chemist that you ladies can reccommend that has that kind of sensitivity?


(and i just realised HPT means home preg tests so my title makes no sense...)

I was in this situation, so I went to GP and asked for a blood test and results back urgent so I could surprise DH on fathers day, cause I didn't think stick would work....turns out I wasn't anyway, but :fingerscrossed: for you....

I think with DS1 I just used the fortel one and it was a couple days before AF was due....

The fortel ultra sensitive preg tests say you can use them 5 - 7 days before AF is due.

yeah.. i used a hospital one, u cant get them at supermarket, chemist, only the hopsital, i got it only cause my DH used to work in the admin in the hospital.. anyhow.. it was the best for me.. but... i also used a supermarket one, i think it was um.... it had a stick cardboard stick kinda thing and a cup.. if that makes any sense!!:o Lol!! anyhow.. it was sensitive one so that worked good too! um... maybe best to go to the doctor, probably more accurate that way!

Fortel Ultra is the most sensitive one you can buy, you can get them at Woolies.
They measure 10mIU/ml.
All the others will detect a minimum of 25mIU.
I got a bfp with Fortel ultra at 11dpo which was about 2-3 days before I was due.

I'm going to throw in another brand... I tested 4 days before AF was due with Clearblue and got a very clear ++ with my second bub.
