I've been having panadol. I feel like absolute ****. Sore joints, runny nose, sore throat, headache. This mixed with m/s is not good. (I know I can't take cold and flu tablets)

You poor love.:hugs:
When I was pregnant, I had a bad cold, and what really helped me was using a vaporiser - I think I literally had it going day and night. I found the best solution to have in it was one containing camphor.
As well as that, or if you don't have a vaporiser (an essential for bubs in my opinion anyway!), you can fill a bowl/sink with hot water, dissolve some Vick's Vaporub into it, and then lean over it (but not too close) with a towel over your head and inhale the steam. Works a treat.
Good luck, and remember it won't last forever, although I'm sure it feels like it....
just edited to add: it's okay to take paracetamol, and I found lemsip to be a godsend.

I used Brauer homeopathic remedies from the health food shop when I was pregnant and had a cold or the flu.

hi there, panadol and drink LOTS of water ... try and rest as much as you can in a dark place.... vicks is good, i used a vapouriser as well.... BUT if it stays around a long time and you don't feel any better, go to your doctor. I got pnuemonia when i was 37 weeks pregnant with my second and had to have antibiotics......but the main thing he told me REST REST REST and looooads of water..... hope you like going to the loo.. hehehe!!!!
hope you start to feel better soon.

Along with the vapouriser buy some Garlic (odourless) tablets and some Vitamin C tablets and take them both 3 times a day.
They will help reduce the duration of your cold, so you will feel better sooner

I agree with the ladies who suggested the Vicks vapouriser :)
When I was sick a couple of weeks ago, I took panadol when I was feeling really horrid and had a headache, but otherwise it was the vaporiser and hot lemon/honey/sugar drinks and plenty of rest and fluids.
